MISS ARCHIVES BEAUTY PAGEANT which started in 2014, is the face of the data, information, document, records, and archive industry ambassador promoting and reaching out to organizations and the society at large in reiterating the importance of record and archive management thereby creating the much desired platform for employment and investment opportunities for the youths most especially the female folk.
THE IDEA
- Miss Archives Beauty Pageant is the premier multi-cultural pageantry, developed to create a strong and consistent platform for the promotion of information management and technology literacy, education and career.
- To give the female folks the opportunities to showcase their inner-most beauty and intellectual abilities, complimented by the use of local materials and fabrics in promoting the awareness of records and information management within and outside the Country with a view of showcasing local fabrics for Global Recognition
- To improve art of general management of records and information with the introduction of standards, specifications, processes and procedures in both individual and corporate life
- To create an annual platform to search for the face that connects brands to their target audience within Nigeria, Africa and Beyond
- To establish an avenue for tourism opportunities, exhibition and revenue generation in an atmosphere of fun featuring TOP celebrities from the Nollywood, Music and Entertainment industry generally.

- Tour of Archives: This is a designated tour to Archival facility, aimed at exposing contestants to the verious archival materials stored in archives and how Archive operations is being caaried out to educate and ensure cultural renaissance and value re-awakening in preserving our heritage in the nation
- Training: A rear opportunity to learn the basics and best practice in Information management and also engage in the activities of the Records and Information Management Awareness (RIMA) Foundation Knowledge Network (RFK-Network)
- Fashion Display: This is an opportunity to showcase different Design, Style, Costume and Fabrics e.g. adire
MUSIC: Entertaining Traditional /Cultural troop and Acrobatics display
